SOUND HEALING
Sound healing is an ancient therapy that was used millennia ago to heal the body, mind and soul through the power of sound and vibration.
30,000 years ago, in Australia, the Aborigines used the Didgeridoo to treat physical ailments.
In Greece, -500 years BC. according to Pythagoras' research, music was used to treat psychological problems. In Egypt, 200 years BC. was the voice that was used to heal psychological and emotional problems.
In India and Nepal, mantras, bells and gongs are used to purify oneself energetically at the entrance to Temples.
I discovered sound healing in 2020, during a fairly challenging life episode. I really fell in love with this practice. From the first session, I was able to experience a release of my physical and emotional tensions that I was unable to release with yoga. I was also able to experience a state of total letting go, of very deep and regenerating relaxation. Since then, I have continued to experiment this sound therapy in France, India and Nepal. And in the desire to share these benefits with you, in 2023 I decided to train in sound healing in India.
The vibrations of the instruments, mainly the Tibetan Bowls, are used to balance all aspects of our being : physical, mental, emotional, psychological and energetic. The benefits are felt on all levels of our being because our body is made up of approximately 65% water, which makes it very receptive to vibrations.
This sound therapy offers total letting go as well as release from physical and emotional tensions. It's like a gentle massage from the inside, which works on the root of physical and emotional pain.
Sound treatment has many benefits :
• Strengthens the immune system
• Improves blood circulation
• Improves concentration
• Improves sleep quality
• Reduces stress, anxiety and depression
• Balances the endocrine and hormonal system
• Stimulates self-healing capacity
During the sound healing, you lie comfortably on your mat, you have nothing to do except simply let yourself be transported by the sound and vibrations of the instruments.
I guide sound treatments in groups and I also offer individual sound therapy, adapted according to each person’s specific needs.
